Finally, there was something for me to update this blog. =)

Let me start with the Wesak Day celebration in Kuching. It was about 12 midnight when I was playing computer game with my friends and Andrew asked me whteher to join him in a parade for Wesak Day during night time. After all, three of us decided to join him for the parade.
Somehow, we felt like being "cheated" as the parade was only available for the members of that society. Having no more choice, we just signed up and paid RM 10 to get the shirt (慈青). Actually, I would prefer to join in by the name of my Buddhist society (佛青). For me, our shirts are prettier than theirs. ^^Y
Another thing to complain, the distance was too long. We were extremely exhausted after the long walk. Plus, we needed to take their flags also. Forgetting about the cons first, it was a really grand celebration here. If I am not mistaken, there was a total of 43 teams participating. Hence, it was indeed a good experience. We kept telling ourselves that it was all for the religion, so we should appreciate it. But one of us was mad. I could tell he was angry throughout the whole journey. I should talk about him in the next post. Not to mention, they sang 三宝歌 and I was glad about it. Yea, I missed that song.

Happy Birthday to you. It was Ching Shou's birthday.
I prefer calling him Ching Shou than Vincent. Hehe...
As usual, we were planning a party for him. Bought a blackforest cake from Secret Recipe. Gathered at about 12am. Lighted the candles. Camera was ready. Then, ~Happy Birthday to You~ was sung. And I was not sure whether he was surprised. I believed he was touched, like mine. Cut the cake. Ate the cake. Laughed ouselves out. Snapped some photos.
Then, we went back to respective rooms. Too bad nobody started the "cream war". Manage to skip a creamy night. LOL...

Oh, I missed something important. These two days (1st and 2nd June) were holidays for Hari Gawai. So, "Selamat Ari Gawai" for all celebrating it. We were happy that Zach invited many of us to his open house.
Wow, there were really a lot of people. Most of them are Chinese and Malays and one Indian. 1 Malaysia? His house was totally crowded. After having a light refreshment, we were served a small cup of alcohol (Tuak). Of course, it was not a strong one. We were still awake after all. At about 3.30pm, we left and went for a second round meal. LOL... Ended up in MacDonald. Seven of us were there to enjoy the meals. One of the happiest moments of the day, I would say. Thanks, my friends. And for Sum, we like joking but not bullying. :p
That is all for this time. Stay tuned~
